About the Program
A new route to international experience
We’re excited to launch Ofoq Remote Internship Program, a new experience designed to connect young Palestinian talents with international organizations.
Delivered in partnership with Virtual Internships, the program gives eligible Palestinian graduates the opportunity to gain international professional experience remotely. Virtual Internships supports the virtual internship process, including matching candidates with international host companies.

The Concept
What Is a Virtual Internship?
A virtual internship, also known as a remote internship, is a professional work placement completed online. Instead of commuting to an office, you work remotely with an international host company, using digital tools to collaborate and communicate with an international team.
Through the program’s partnership with Virtual Internships, Ofoq interns build real-world experience with an international host company without relocating, while developing professional skills that strengthen their career profile.

The internship itself is paid for two months for selected candidates.
Who Can Apply
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must meet all four conditions.
- Between 22 and 29 Years Old
- Currently Unemployed
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong Proficiency in Written and Spoken English
The Process
How the Application Works
The application journey has seven stages, completed in this order. It starts on the Ofoq Career Site and continues on the Virtual Internships platform for shortlisted candidates.
Shortlisting
The BA Recruitment Team reviews applications and shortlists up to 15 candidates.
Virtual Internships Platform
Shortlisted candidates proceed to the Virtual Internships platform and complete the required application details and recorded video interview.
Review
The application is reviewed through the Virtual Internships process.
Matching
Candidates are matched with a suitable international host company.
Host Company Interview
The candidate interviews with the international host company.
Paid Internship
Successful candidates begin a paid two-month remote internship.
Progressing through the application process does not guarantee selection, matching, or internship placement.
